A woman has been injured in an attempted robbery at LaGuardia airport’s central terminal on Wednesday morning.
A physical altercation took place before the attempted purse snatcher fled the scene.
Police announced that the victim was in the restroom when another woman tried to take her purse at approximately 11 A.M.
The victim has sustained scraped and bruises in the incident.
It has been reported she may be taken to hospital for an examination.
The suspect hasn’t been apprehended, and it’s not clear what kind of weapon was used to slash the victim.
No arrests have been made.
