A New York Waterway Ferry reportedly ran aground on a sandbar in the Coney Island Channel Wednesday night.
The FDNY and NYPD were responding.
According to WABC, the vessel is not taking on water.
Nearly 30 people were on board when the incident occurred—no injuries have been reported.
