Emergency responders rushed to the scene in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon after a parking garage collapsed.
The incident occurred near Nassau Street and Ann Street in the Financial District, shortly after 4 p.m.
According to the FDNY, one person was killed and at least five other people were injured.
Video footage of the incident showed numerous cars stacked on top of one another with buckled concrete.

The FDNY reported that the second floor of the parking garage had collapsed onto the first floor.
