SANTEE, Calif. — A small plane crashed near a High School in San Diego County Monday around noon. At least two people are confirmed dead.
The Cessna 340A crashed into homes and also hit a UPS truck, killing the driver. There are reports of other casualties but an exact number remains unclear.
The aircraft went down near North Magnolia Avenue and 2nd street — smoke could be seen for miles.
Officials say the scheduled flight path was from Yuma, Arizona to Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport in San Diego.
