SOUTH CAROLINA — Police are responding to an active shooter incident at the Northwoods Mall in Charleston.
The North Charleston police department and the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office tactical teams were on scene.
The extent of injuries, if any, were not known. Officers set up a perimeter around the mall as they canvassed the area for suspects.
Photos posted to social media showed officers sweeping the mall with rifles drawn.
Officials later said the shooting was an ‘isolated incident’ involving an argument between two unidentified males.
