Police Respond To Mass Shooting In East St. Louis | Here’s What We Know

ILLINOIS – There was a massive police response to a mass casualty shooting in East St. Louis late Thursday afternoon.

The scene is in the 500 block of Martin Luther King Drive.

According to KSDK, up to 12 people were shot. Also at the scene, a car crash occurred between a vehicle and a MetroLink train–it was unclear if the crash was related to the shooting.

KMOV reported the shooting suspects ‘tried to drive past the train’ and were struck.

There are no suspects in custody. The Illinois State Police were called in to assist in the manhunt.
