MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police released surveillance images of the suspects wanted in the deadly shooting of rapper Young Dolph at a cookie business in the city Wednesday.
The murder happened at Makeda’s Butter Cookies — 2370 Airways Boulevard.
The shop owner told FOX13 his ’employees said Young Dolph walked into the store to buy cookies. Someone then drove up and then shot and killed him.’

Officers are on the scene of a shooting at 2370 Airways. One male victim was located and was pronounced dead. No suspect info is available at this time.
The victim will be identified once the next of kin notification has been completed.

Young Dolph’s real name was Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr. He was 36-year-old.
In 2016, he released his debut studio album, King of Memphis, which peaked at number 49 on the Billboard 200 chart.
