PHILADELPHIA — The were reports of an active shooter at a Walmart store in Cheltenham Township, Pennsylvania Tuesday afternoon. The scene is at 1000 Easton Road.
According to local media, the gunman shot at least two people near the customer service desk–conditions were unknown.
Images from local news station WCAU showed a large police response.
Multiple agencies were responding, a SWAT team was also on scene.
Police said one suspect is in custody, it is unclear if that suspect fired the shots. Officers also gathered at a separate scene nearby.
Witnesses reported seeing helicopters in the area.
