Palo Alto, CA. — Fire Department crews were responding to an aircraft down near the Palo Alto Airport Tuesday.
Officials say the small aircraft went down approximately 40 feet offshore of the airport.
Three people were on-board—one person was pronounced dead and two are being transported to Stanford Trauma Center.
It was unclear what caused the plane to crash.
