MASONTOWN, PA. — Police are on the scene of a shooting at a magistrate’s office in Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
The incident was unfolding at the office of Magisterial District Judge Daniel Shimshock–1 East Church Street.
According to the Herald-Standard, several people, ‘including at least one police officer, were shot around 2 p.m.’ Wednesday. The shooter is believed to be dead.
Multiple ambulances and two medical helicopters were called to the scene, local media reported.
The coroner has also been called.
