San Francisco — 11th and Market — Police confirm that the suspicious package is a suitcase that contains body parts.
11th street has been closed, from Market to Mission streets, to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic for the police investigtion.
Police say there is a suspect, but are not releasing any information about that person.
The suspect is not in custody.
Now crews are battling the blaze that broke out just after 6:50 p.m.
It’s burning near 22nd and Mission streets.
There are no reports that these two incident are related.
