COLORADO SPRINGS — Emergency response forces at the Air Force Academy are responding to a possible hazardous material situation at the base Post Office in the Community Center building.
The incident occurred when regular security scans detected a possible hazardous material in a package. The facility has been cleared and the situation is contained. Testing is underway to determine the exact contents of the package.
At this time, there are no injuries, and no danger to the public.
