TEXAS — An Army Apache helicopter with two people on board went down off the coast of Galveston, Texas Wednesday.
The scene is at Port Road near Highway 146, according to KTRK.
Several agencies including the Coast Guard and the Pasadena Fire Department responded.
Divers were sent into the water for what officials say is a “recovery effort.”
Witnesses told local media the helicopter made a loud noise and “broke up” before the crash.
