The United States Capitol is being evacuated after an alarm sounded.
The alarm speakers sounded with “evacuate, evacuate the US Capitol,” the Washington Times is reporting.
Capitol Police confirm they are investigating the incident.
Hundreds of tourists filed out onto the East Lawn between the Capitol and the Library of Congress.
