MEMPHIS, TN — A FedEx worker was killed at the Memphis International Airport Wednesday, the company said.
The incident happened at the FedEx World Hub at the airport — located at 2903 Sprankel Avenue.
“We can confirm the loss of one of our team members this afternoon and are deeply saddened,” FedEx said in a statement to local news statin ABC24. “Our heartfelt thoughts are with our team member’s family, colleagues and all those affected by this event. The circumstances surrounding this tragic incident are still under investigation, and FedEx is fully cooperating with investigating authorities.”
