Brooklyn Man Caught on Video Urinating On Church Statues In Arrested In Hate Crime


BROOKLYN — A 28-year-old Brooklyn man has been arrested after being caught on video urinating and knocking over religious statues at a Church.

On Sunday night, December 2, in front of ‘Our Lady of Consolation’ Roman Catholic Church, located at 184 Metropolitan Avenue, Andrew Oshesky allegedly urinated on the angel statues before forcibly pushing them to the ground causing damage.

He was seen fleeing southbound on Metropolitan Avenue towards Bedford Avenue.

Oshesky has been charged with Criminal Mischief, a hate crime (2 counts), property damage (2 Counts), aggravated harassment and urinating in public.
