Business owner chases down thieves who tried to steal $1,000 worth of supplies from Halloween store

HOUSTON, TX – On September 18, 2022, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office was flagged down by a citizen in the 28600 block of the Northwest Freeway who reported that two suspects were inside the Party City stealing merchandise.

The deputy relocated to the business and identified the suspects as Khadedra Kursh and Myesh Anderson. Further investigation revealed that they stole $1,969.00 worth of merchandise from Party City and $1,000.00 of merchandise from Marshall’s.

Khadedra Kursh was also found to have two open warrants out of Harris County for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Trespass. Myesh Anderson had several prior theft convictions and was on bond for a prior theft and aggravated assault of a family member. All the stolen property was recovered and returned to the stores.

They were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Khadedra Kursh was booked in for her warrants and charged with Theft. Myesh Anderson was charged with Felony Theft. Their bond and court information have not been set at this time.
