An Oklahoma cheerleading coach, Jennifer Hawkins, 45, has been arrested on charges of second-degree rape and sexual battery after details and text messages emerged of her allegedly luring a 16-year-old boy and engaging in sexual activity with him on over 300 occasions.

The Moore Public Schools coach was investigated by police in January after the now 21-year-old victim accused Hawkins of rape.

The affidavit obtained by WFXT revealed that the victim sent a letter to district officials detailing the alleged abuse from a rehab center in California.

The relationship reportedly started in September 2017 when the victim was a sophomore, and most of the sexual encounters took place at Hawkins’ home, where she allegedly brought the victim during lunch.

She eventually had the victim move into her home, as he was the boyfriend of her daughter.

Hawkins initially denied the allegations but later admitted to having a sexual relationship with the student when confronted by authorities.

Text messages revealed that Hawkins became angry with the victim if he looked at other women on social media, and he allegedly told her that he did not want a romantic relationship with her.

The victim texted Hawkins, “I want you in my life, I just don’t want a romantic relationship,” according to the affidavit.

Hawkins has been charged with second-degree rape and sexual battery.
