The Wichita Falls Police Department on Wednesday released surveillance footage from the scene of a murder at a gas station.
On Saturday, February 12, at 4:56 am, officers responded to the ‘Stripes’ store located at 2200 Southwest Parkway to investigate the homicide. The officers arrived and found the store clerk, 51-year-old Floyd Kirt, had been murdered.
Detectives responded to the scene to investigate. Video of the incident shows a thin to medium build black male wearing a gray hoodie — he is the suspect who shot the clerk.
It is believed the suspect left the area walking to the north. There is no known motive for the crime.
