McCLEAN, VA. — Police say a man died in a construction site accident in the 1600 block of Capital One Drive Monday.
Nelson Aguilar-Salamanca, 55, of Maryland, was working at the site as a sub-contractor. Around 7:30 a.m. rebar that was being hoisted in the air by a crane fell and struck Aguilar-Salamanca. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy to confirm cause of death. No other injuries were reported.
