HORRY COUNTY, S.C. — Ten people in total were injured this morning (approximately 7:30 a.m.) as the result of a three-vehicle accident at 1798 N Highway 701 in which a convenience store was struck.
One person was ejected and flown via AirLink medical helicopter with serious injuries.
The nine other patients were transported via ambulance. None of these injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
Miraculously, the driver of the red car walked away unharmed.
Horry County Fire Rescue worked with the Loris Fire Department and South Carolina Department of Public Safety on this emergency.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating this crash.
