SEATTLE – Seattle police responded to a report of a deceased woman found in a vehicle early Tuesday morning in the Laurelhurst neighborhood.
Officers arrived at the scene, located in the 4500 block of 40th Avenue Northeast, just after 2:00 a.m. where they found a woman wrapped in a blanket inside a black SUV parked in the emergency drop zone of a hospital.
Seattle Fire Department personnel also responded and confirmed that the woman had died.
According to police, the woman, who was 39 years old, may have died from a narcotics overdose. However, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the exact manner and cause of her death.
