Around 12:30 pm local time, deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 200 block of Juneva Place SE, Salem, to the report of a possible hostage situation. Once deputies arrived at the home, a call was placed to the suspect by a negotiator with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Hostage Negotiation Team.
