Police in Tacoma, Washington say a man was barricaded with a rifle inside of a hotel room Monday.
The scene is at the Pacific Lodge Motel—8821 Pacific Ave.
Officers say they received reports that the suspect fired a single shot inside of the hotel room and is ‘threatening to shoot everyone.’
Police were surrounding the building and attempting to evacuate guests as nearby schools were placed on lockdown.
According to KOMO, transit buses have been rerouted away from the scene.
No injuries have been reported.
