A huge 7.7 magnitude earthquake occurred between Cuba and Jamaica Tuesday afternoon.
The United States Geological Survey says the quake struck around 2:10 p.m. According to AccuWeather, shaking was reported as far away as Miami, Florida.
A tsunami warning was not immediately issued, but the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says “Hazardous tsunami waves are possible.”
