NEBRASKA — Omaha police were investigating suspicious items at the Islamic Center of Omaha Tuesday.
According to local media, an unidentified man walked into the Islamic Center at 3511 N 73rd Street and left two ‘briefcases’ before leaving.
Omaha PD Bomb Response Team responded and were working the incident. The FBI was also alerted.
Police later tweeted the scene was secure and there was ‘no threat.’ The investigation continues.
