CALIFORNIA — Dozens of police officers responded to a call of shots fired at Balboa High School in San Francisco Thursday–1000 Cayuga Avenue.
According to local news station KGO, ‘police have found a gun on campus of Balboa High School and are currently searching for the person who the weapon belongs to.’
The school district said all students were safe: “An incident at Balboa High was reported. Students are safe and SFPD are investigating. Denman MS, Leadership High School, San Miguel Early Education School, and Balboa High are all on lockdown. Parents will not be able to pick up students as the perimeter is sealed. We will provide updates as soon as we have more information.”
Officers were searching the school room-by-room.
