CHULA VISTA, CA. — Southwestern College evacuated the Chula Vista campus and all its centers Thursday morning while Campus Police investigated what they called a credible threat.
All classes were cancelled for the remainder of the day and all campuses and departments will close.
Local media reports the threat came from a student.
“In an abundance of caution while we investigate, the college is canceling all classes and evacuating all campuses,” Southwestern College Superintendent & President Dr. Kindred Murillo said.
No injuries were reported.
