SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. – A train derailed near the county line between Manatee and Sarasota on Tuesday, causing at least two cars to overturn. The incident occurred on 16th Street East in the 7200 block.
The trains were transporting sheet metal, rocks, and at least one car carrying propane.
Although no evacuations have been ordered, Hamzat has responded to the scene.
