SANTEE, California — West Hills High School is in Lockdown due to an “unsubstantiated threat” that law enforcement is investigating.

Fox5 reports someone called 911 at 9:16 a.m. and said bombs in four separate bags would be set off on the Mast Boulevard campus 20 minutes later, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

Students have been evacuated to a Church.

The San Diego Sheriff made the following statement: “If you live in Santee, be aware of increased law enforcement activity in your area. Please avoid the 8700 block of Mast Boulevard around West Hills High School.

Thank you for your cooperation and we will send updates when we have more information.”

K9 Units and Officer with rifles are on scene, searching inside and outside the school. Few details were available.
