Peoria, ARIZ. — On May 7, 2019, at 5:16 pm the principal of Sun Valley Elementary school notified the Peoria Police Department of a teacher allegedly inappropriately touching an 11-year-old female student.
Peoria Police Special Victims Detectives began an investigation and discovered the teacher, Ricky Ordway, was alleged to have inappropriately touched three 5th grade female students at the school.
On May 14, 2019, at about 10:30 am, Detectives arrested Ordway, 43, without incident at the Peoria Police Unified School District Office, and booked him into 4th Avenue Jail.
Ordway is being charged with 5 counts of child molestation and 1 count of sexual abuse — both felonies.
