A female high school student was shot in the neck near Watkins Elementary School in Pembroke Park Friday morning, officials said. Deputies received the call at 6:39 a.m. saying a 15 to 16-year-old victim was shot, in the area of SW 52nd Avenue south of Hallandale Blvd., according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
