SUNRISE, Fla. — A 60-year-old Sunrise man faces 72 charges related to possessing child pornography and promoting sexual performances by a child.
Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force arrested Neil Greenberg on Monday, April 15 and suspect there may be other unidentified victims.
The ICAC investigation into Greenberg began when the U.S. Marshals Service shared a tip about a possible human trafficking case involving a 17-year-old girl. The task force’s investigation revealed that Greenberg had 36 videos of him having oral and vaginal intercourse with girls as young as 14 years old. In addition, BSO detectives said that Greenberg paid to have sex with at least two teenagers who were younger than 18 at the time.
In addition to the 72 counts, Greenberg faces one count of unlawful sexual activity with certain minors and one count of unlawful use of a two-way communication device for acts committed between March 2017 and February 2019.
Greenberg is self-employed and manages a local website.
