Florida Woman Set On Fire At Taco Bell

TALLAHASSEE — At 6:18 p.m. cops responded to Taco Bell, 2806 South Monroe Street, in reference to an aggravated battery.

Officers discovered that a suspect entered the business and doused the victim with gasoline before setting the victim on fire and fleeing the scene on foot. That victim was taken to a hospital by helicopter with serious injuries.

Mia Williams 32 years of age, who identifies as a black female, was taken into custody around 5:00 a.m. the next day.

The victim is still being treated at a hospital and remains in serious condition. TPD’s Victim Advocate Unit continues to assist the victim’s family as they deal with the heinous crime.

A motive for the crime remains unknown.
