Former Inmate Arrested For Throwing Urine on Corrections Officer

Fishkill, New York – On September 8, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Wappinger barracks arrested Anthony Robinson, 27 years old, formerly of Downstate Correctional Facility, for Aggravated Harassment of an Employee by an Inmate, a Class E Felony.

In January of 2015, BCI Investigators were advised by Downstate Correctional Facility officials that Robinson threw urine at a correction officer who was conducting security rounds.

In July of 2015, an Arrest Warrant was issued by the Town of Fishkill Court for Robinson who was previously released from the custody of Downstate Correctional Facility.

On September 8, 2015, the State Police were notified by NYPD that Robinson was in their custody after being stopped in the confines of the 44th Precinct.  Robinson was transported to the State Police barracks in Wappinger and processed for Aggravated Harassment of an Employee by an Inmate.

Robinson was arraigned before the Town of Fishkill Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.  He is scheduled to re-appear in Fishkill Court on September 14, 2015.

The New York State Police were assisted by the NYS DOCCS and NYPD.
