His lawyer, Greg Bentley of  told ABC News: ‘Nobody expects that you purchase a product that explodes in our face. It’s unconscionable that these products are out there and they’re randomly exploding all across the country.’

Mr Bentley of Shernoff Bidart Echeverria Bentley is handling the three cases.

Earlier this year, he won $1.885 million for Jennifer Ries who was on her way to an airport when the e-cigarette she was charging in her car exploded.

He was treated for a hole in his left cheek, second degree burns across his face, ear and neck.

The force of the blast broke his cheekbone and caused concussion.

He was also diagnosed with post concussive syndrome.

‘Danny is physically and emotionally scarred from the burns and injuries. Due to his continued post concussive syndrome and psychological injuries, Danny is unable to continue his work as a soccer coach, trainer or sales representative. Indeed, Danny has been debilitated to the point where normal daily activities are a challenge.’
