Former LAPD Officer Hit With Child Porn Charges

A Los Angeles man has been charged with possessing child pornography, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced today.

Clark Warren Baker, 61, is scheduled to be arraigned today on one felony count of possession of child or youth pornography.

Images of child pornography allegedly were discovered on an external hard drive during a search of Baker’s home on Nov. 28, 2018. He was arrested and released on $20,000 bail.

Baker, who is a retired Los Angeles Police Department officer, faces a possible maximum sentence of three years in state prison if convicted as charged.

Angela Brunson of the Cyber Crime Division is prosecuting the case.
