Former NBA Player Charged In West Hollywood Attack

CALIFORNIA — An ex-professional basketball player has been charged with the felony assault of a man outside of a West Hollywood club, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Ronald Glen Davis a.k.a. Glen “Big Baby” Davis, of Tarzana, faces one count of assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury. The charge includes an allegation of causing great bodily injury.

Davis allegedly threw a victim into a wall during an altercation outside of a club in the 600 block of Robertson Boulevard on April 8, prosecutors said, causing the victim facial fractures and a broken rib.

If convicted as charged, Davis faces a possible maximum sentence of seven years in state prison.

Davis played for the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Clippers.
