‘Empire’ actor Jussie Smollett is under arrest and in custody of Chicago detectives.
Superintendent Eddie Johnson and Commander of Area Central Detectives Edward Wodnicki briefed reporters on the investigation before Smollett appears in court for his bond hearing at 2:30 p.m. ET.
