NEW YORK — Police and first responders were on scene of a shooting at a IHOP restaurant on Long Island Monday afternoon.
The scene is at 339 Portion Road, in Ronkonkoma.
WNBC reported: Suffolk County cops say the shooting apparently stemmed from some sort of an argument involving individuals known to police. The people involved fled the scene before authorities arrived. Cops say a man showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound and authorities believe he was involved in the IHOP fray.
There was a large police response and roads in the area were closed. Multiple ambulances were requested.
