GEORGIA — Emergency personnel evacuated a building on Fort Benning Monday afternoon.
According to local media, a ‘delivery’ at McGinnis Wickam Hall prompted the response.
The contents of the delivery were not known.
No injuries were reported.
Fort Benning is a United States Army base straddling the Alabama-Georgia border next to Columbus, Georgia. Fort Benning supports more than 120,000 active-duty military, family members, reserve component soldiers, retirees, and civilian employees on a daily basis.
