A newly released video sheds new light on the moments leading up to Richard Russell crashing a plane. The footage shows him going through security wearing a T-shirt that says “the sky’s no limit.” He then boards an empty 70-seater plane and took off. Russell flew the plane around Seattle for an hour while National Guard fighter jets were scrambled in fear. The 2018 incident ended when Russell crashed the plane onto a remote island, killing himself.
