The LAPD is investigating a disturbing scene in Fairfax, after swastikas and blood were found in a playground.

The hateful messages were found at around 6:40AM Monday morning, on the 100 Block of North Gardner Street at the Pan Pacific Park – a park used by the Orthodox Jewish community every day. There is also a large Holocaust remembrance memorial monument inside the park.

Messages were found scrawled on a cement wall next to the playground, with bloody footprints leading to a public bathroom. Swastikas were also found in the bathroom.

A pair of red shoes were also found. Police say there was no victims found in the area.

The LAPD requested Misaskim of Los Angeles to respond to the park to assist them in cleaning up the blood.
