Detectives are investigating a hate crime in NYC on Sunday.
A man was captured on camera defacing five FDNY Ambulances with swastikas and the words “Nazi Pigs” at an FDNY Station located at 501 W. 172nd St., near Amsterdam Avenue. Police say the vandalism occurred at around 7:20AM.
The man fled the scene on foot on Amsterdam Avenue.
The investigation is being conducted by the NYPD Hate Crimes Unit along with fire marshals.
