Seminole County, FL. – The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) Crimes Against Children Unit yesterday charged 47-year-old Bryan Shane Teet with two counts of unlawful sex with a minor.
Investigators were contacted on Monday regarding the allegations of the inappropriate sexual relationship between a student and Teet, a Reserve Officers’ Training Corps(ROTC) instructor at Lake Howell High School.
The victim told investigators the relationship with Teet started in early April and included two sexual encounters at a family member’s home. Based on a follow-up interview with the suspect and other evidence, investigators determined probable cause existed and charged Teet in connection with those two incidents.
Teet was arrested early Wednesday evening and booked into the John E. Polk Correctional Facility. He has since posted the $40,000 bond and is no longer in custody.
