COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — In May, 2019, the Colorado Springs Police Department Special Victims Section/ Crimes Against Children Unit began an investigation into a report of an unlawful sexual contact involving a Mitchell High School teacher and a student under the age of 18.
The investigation led to the arrest of the teacher, Armando Grez, age 27 for a felony crime of Sexual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust.
No further details were released.
