A pregnant female from Honduras was apprehended in McAllen, Texas Monday morning and delivered a stillborn baby later that day. According to initial reports, U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended and processed the woman for improper entry June 24 near McAllen, Texas. She was medically screened at the McAllen Central Processing Center and determined to need medical attention. She was transported to a local hospital where hospital medical staff were unable to detect a fetal heartbeat. She delivered a stillborn baby shortly thereafter.
