HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office followed up on an anonymous email. The email contained an attachment of a video posted on social media depicting a brutal assault.
The victim is seen in the video with his face severely beaten and bleeding profusely. Deputies conducted an investigation and were able to locate the victim who was found unconscious in a vehicle unattended and without medical treatment. The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition. He was treated for fractures to both eyes and jaw.
After a thorough investigation, deputies were able to identify the suspect as, Kawika Lopeti Crown. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted charges and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Kawika Crown is currently wanted by law enforcement for Aggravated Assault with Serious Bodily Injury. He received no bond.
