CONROE, Texas – A high school science teacher is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
On January 12, Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office began the investigation after the victim’s grandmother alerted authorities, court documents say. The boy reportedly told his cousin that he had been engaging in sex with his school teacher several times.
Detectives identified the suspect as 36-year-old Bonnie Guess Mazock, a teacher at Oakridge High School.
KPRC reported: Officials said the student also told investigators he had sex with Mazock multiple times, including inside of her vehicle and at his home. He also stated that Mazock said, “her husband was not satisfying her at home so he had to satisfy her,” according to court documents.
The Conroe Independent School District said in a letter to parents, “Over the next few days, you will likely see and hear news reports regarding our school. I wanted you to hear directly from me accurate information about what has happened. I want to assure you that Oak Ridge High School and Conroe ISD are committed to providing a safe learning environment for your children.”
Mazock was charged with indecency with a child.
