BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Terrifying video shows a car slamming into a pedestrian in a brutal hit-and-run in East Bakersfield on October 7th. Miraculously, the woman survived the incident with only a fractured leg and bruises. Police have not found the people responsible.
The victim’s daughter, Madelen Ortega, wrote on GoFundMe: I just want to ask for help this happen on October7,2020 a month ago and they still have not found the people responsible Thank God my mom just got bruises and a Fracture Leg I honestly though she would not make it my Mom has always been a strong working women selling fruit and tamales also helping my Dad with a Swapmeet stand but she can’t work now and also our only car to work is also ruined we do need help paying rent and other bills my sisters and I are working but it’s not enough
